Aurora

Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is a Norwegian song writer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15th of 2015 and received great reviews from both music bloggers and the press. Half the World Away - by Oasis to accompany John Lewis' Christmas ad and Nature Boy - by Nat King Cole is already two of the most notable covers the singer has created. Katy Perry shared a tweet in which Perry announced her new song Runaway. Make it a day to celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was discovering a piano within her loft and being fascinated by its music. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes urged her to use music for personal growth, rather than as a way of earning money or for an interest. So she started her own compositions. Alongside Bjork as well, she mentions Leonard Cohen as an influence. When her mother informed her that her music could not only help her get noticed, however, they could also help others understand their significance in the world and realize what can be done with them, she decided to begin playing in front of the public. At age 6 She began playing the piano. At age nine, she, started writing songs. Her family didn't have any idea until she was fourteen. Aurora's accomplishments were never the goal of her. The only thing she loves is to compose music. She says that music is her favorite way of feeling something.
